Abstract

The Indonesian plantation sector is being spurred to produce quality products, including robusta coffee with good prospects. However, the problem faced is often justified to be of low quality, so Robusta coffee has the opportunity to be improved, especially in the quality of the production process, namely by applying ISO 9001: 2015 which has certainty and is recognized by many countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system in the Robusta coffee processing unit in Jember Regency. The location selection was done by Purposive Sampling namely at the Coffee and Cocoa Research Center, PTPN XII Renteng, and the Sidomulyo Fruit Ketakasi Cooperative (KSU). The method used is a pre-assessment, selfassessment by the owner / manager, and analysis of pairwais assessments by experts using AHP. The analysis shows that Robusta Coffee Processing Unit of Jember Regency already has 3 clauses out of 7 existing clauses in the Strong category. But there are still important parts of the quality system that are not up to standard or even none at all. This can be overcome by implementing improvements under the guidance and service of ISO 9001: 2015 training specialists and consultants. ISO 9001: 2015 clauses that are prioritized for successive implementation are Leadership (0.259), Organizational Context (0.244), Supporting (0.178), Operations (0.122), Planning (0.095), Improvement (0.053) and Performance Evacuation (0.53) 0.049), so that continuous improvement is needed for clauses that have low priority
