Abstract
This Final Project location took place at UD Burno Sari, Senduro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The objectives of this study are (1) To determine the control of raw materials applied by UD Burno Sari so far. (2) To find out the use of costs from the control of raw materials applied by UD Burno Sari so far. (3) To find out the application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to improve cost efficiency (cost) at UD Burno Sari Senduro, Lumajang Regency. From the results of the observations it can be concluded that: (1) In controlling raw materials applied UD Burno Sari has been done conventionally to make purchases when the raw materials in the warehouse are almost depleted and depend on the availability of materials in the market. (2) Total inventory costs assuming the company is Rp. 189,048,458. (3) The total inventory cost per year from the EOQ calculation (Economic Order Quantity) is Rp. 17,969,574. The difference between company assumptions and EOQ calculations is Rp. 1,078,884. Based on comparisons made with the EOQ method (Economic Order Quantity) and controls that have been carried out by the company, it can be concluded that controlling banana stock in UD Burno Sari Lumajang Regency is good where the difference in total inventory costs between the two methods is not too far away
