Abstract

Sukorambi Public Health Center is one of the public health services in Jember Regency by providing outpatient, inpatient and emergency care services. This study aims to design and manufacture a web-based outpatient service information system at Sukorambi Health Center which has the function to integrate every services that are in outpatient care and produce reports without doing manual calculations which usually performed by the officers. The conducted research used the waterfall method that includes analysis of needs and resolution, system design, coding and testing. The data collection techniques used interview, observation, documentation and brainstorming methods. The web-based general outpatient information system that has been made have the additional contributions. First, the patient can do online registration to get the queue data, then the patient's medical record number will automatically increase without doing add-back. Next, the notification appears on each user to indicate the number of patients who have not been served. Another advantage is when the doctors inputting the amount of the drug that has run out then the system will display a notification of insufficient drug stock, then equipped with a chat feature where the officers can send messages to each other and the last is each user can find out the status of the patient during the outpatient care. The outputs produced by the general patient outpatient information system are patient visit reports, medical index cards, and usage reports and drug demand reports (LPLPO).
