Abstract

This research is descriptive research that aims to analyze and design in writing of operating procedure in Mandiri Kaola association located at Airlangga Street, Gg VIII No. 36 Rambipuji, Jember Regency. Straw mushrooms business have many proteges who are new to mushroom cultivation. During this time, each process of mushroom cultivation is carried out based on the habits of the head of the community. Therefore it is necessary to make in write the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that will make easier for them to guide other mushroom entrepreneurs. The method used in this research was expert system method, it was the method of problem solving by conducting interviews with 1 expert who an expert in mushroom cultivation. The instrument in this research were questionnaires consisted a set of questions or written statements to the respondent to answer. The questionnaires used were closed and open questionnaire intended to experts who were then recorded in a notebook. The result of this research are written recording of the Standard Operating Procedure in the form of a flowchart of mushroom cultivation stages in Kaola Mandiri Association, consisted SOP of Planting Media, SOP of Mushroom Grow Room Filling, SOP of Pasteurization, SOP of Seed Planting, SOP of Maintenance and SOP of Harvesting. The SOP is a guidline in every step of production that make the process run well.
