Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the origin of the eye and the composition of the planting medium on the growth of sugar cane. This research was conducted using Faktorial Completely Randomized Design (FCRD) with 2 experimental factors. The first factor is the location of the eye (B) with 3 levels. The second factor is the planting media (K) with 3 levels, so there are 9 combinations. Use the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. The results obtained from the research that has been done can be concluded that the treatment that shows there is an interaction between the origin of the eye and the composition of the planting medium on the root length parameter age 99 Days After Planting (HST). The best tendency for each parameter is the use of eye position B1 (top stem) and comparison planting media (Top soil 1: Compost 1)
