Abstract

This research aims to know the performance of broiler growth in Sukowono District, Jember Regency and the effect of feed consumption, bodily weight, PBB, FCR, mortality and harvest time on PI (Performance Index). This research was use survey method by doing interview to 30 cattlemans. The data was analyzed by using Normality Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Determination Test, F Test and t Test. The result of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis obtained an equation is Y = 419,70 – 86,369X1 + 312,347X2 – 12,001X3 – 47,132X4 + 5,440X5 – 9,608X6. Those equation means that Y (Performance Index) is affected by feed consumption (X1) amount of -86,369, bodily weight (X2) amount of 312,347, PBB (X3) amount of 12,001, FCR (X4) amount of -47,132, Mortality (X5) amount of 5,440, and harvest time (X6) amount of -9,608. The result of Determination R 2 test amount of 0,998. The result of F test shows that the probability value amount of <0.000, means that all independent variables (X) are significant concurrently on dependent variables (Y). The result of t test shows that feed consumption, bodily weight and harvest time are significant on Performance Index. However PBB, FCR and mortality are non significant on Performance Index. The performance of brioler growth shows that feed consumption, bodily weight, weekly PBB, and harvest time are decrease, however FCR and mortality are increase
