Abstract
Kaliwates general hospital in Jember is one of the private health care facilities. Kaliwates general hospital in Jember desire to improve the quality of service in a professional manner. Both of human resources and completeness of facilities and infrastructure owned in order to improve financial returns. The success in the era of globalization are determined by productivity and efficiency in working. Based on the results of a preliminary survey on Kaliwates general hospital in Jember part of medical records have 7 officers, consists of head medical record, 1 staff analysis of assembling and medical stattement legal, 1 staff coding and reporting, 1 staff filing / storage, while at the registration officers have 3 staff. The purpose of this research was to analyze medical records officer productivity by using FTE (Full Time Equivalent). This research is a descriptive. The results of this research showed that the workload medical records in 2016 is 7193 inpatient and 28 824 for outpatient. The calculation results of productivity in unit medical record of Kaliwates general hospital in Jember is 66% for staff outpatient, 78% of staff inpatient, 21% for staff assembling, 106% for staff coding, 85% for staff filling. Need for increased one staff registration outpatient as well as their low productivity improvements in order to reach the ideal, especially in assembling part.
