Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of the proportion of the use of fertilizer cattle chicken and cattle against the diversity of plankton in the waters as waters fertility indicator. The research was carried out in Politeknik Negeri Jember. Time research was done in November 2015 until February 2016. This research is done by soaking the manure into waters. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 different treatment, i.e. P0 = Water without pelakuan 0 gram/L (control); P1 = proportion of natural fertilizer cattle chicken 75% and 25% cows 5 gram/L; P2 = proportion of natural fertilizer cattle chicken 50% and 50% cows 5 gram/L; P3 = proportion of natural fertilizer cattle chicken 25% and 75% cows 5 gram/L and re-in as much as 3 times. The test parameters in is the diversity of plankton from each treatment. The results showed that the proportion of the use fertilizer cattle chicken and cows provide the influence that differ significantly against the treatment of diversity P1 more effectively with diversity index 1.13 ind/l. This indicates that the proportion of fertilizer chicken coops and cows can increase the growth of plankton.
