Abstract

Jember is the third largest city in East Java after Surabaya and Malang. There are many strategic places for the various centers in various fields as supporting local revenues, coupled with a high population density in the city of Jember, resulting in possible occurrence of obstacles or things that are not desirable, such as crime, traffic congestion, flooding and so forth, not the exception health and traffic accidents. Not a few people who panic and get confused when you are in an emergency such as a traffic accident or health impaired and need medical care quickly. To overcome this problem, the use of digital map on the smartphone is very easy to operate can be a solution to determine the locations of the nearest hospital. So they make an application to determine the location of the nearest hospital based on where the user location to determine the distance between the point of using motode Eucludean Distance associated with Pythagoras theorem and used Google Map API to assist in displaying maps online.
