Abstract

Absence of Diabetes Mellitus patient to control due to many Diabetes Mellitus patient who forgot or lack of information on Diabetes Mellitus patient control schedule. Dissemination information of patient control activities Diabetes Mellitus is less efficient, because the information is only given when the patient is doing the examination, but no information reminder again for the next. The purpose of this study is to design and create applications that are used as a medium reminder control schedule for patients Diabetes Mellitus. Method was use used is waterfall method with the stages analisys system needs, information system design, coding and testing. Thue research uses qualitative approach where the processof collecting and retrieving data was done by observation and brainstorming. MySQL programming language, and Visual Basic.Net. The result was obtained was Gateway SMS application to improve patient compliance Diabetes Mellitus at Kraksaan Public Healt Center of Probolinggo. Public Healt Center Kraksaan expected meticulous in control form part of schedule control because the control schedule thet determines when an SMS will be send to patient with Diabetes Mellitus and officers must be timely in the delivery of SMS one day before the activities performed
