Abstract

Information systems usually use to produce information that has a managerial and structural. Information systems used by a group of people in certain levels on company. By capacity development and complexity of company which is getting higher, enable to occur problems that have semi-structurally. Therefore Decision Supporting System is created, to be a manager and group of people assistant to decide options related to problems faced by the company. Old Iron Company is a company that runs in a trading business. In the world of trading business, a businessman must be accurate in sorting goods. The sorting process is very useful to increase income and minimize the useless goods. By standing in this reason, Selection of Used things Supporting System of Ririn Old Iron Company desktop based is created. The system has purpose to assist the founder choose the priority used things for the company. This decision supporting system applies Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is one practical approachment to break the complex problems down that contains alternative degrees. AHP also make possible of taking decision that provide hierarchy connection between factor, attribute, characteristic or alternative in case of taking decision. With certain characteristic, hierarchy that is owned, complex problem that has not structure and then solved in groups.
