Abstract
Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease that causes a complex problems by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae infections. Leprosy in Sumenep ranked second in East Java.in 2012 the number of cases leprosy about 540 cases, in 2013 about 475 cases and in 2014 about 517 cases.It is necessary for intensive monitoring to reduce the incidence of leprosy. Monitoring can be easily using mapping system of the distribution of leprosy in Sumenep. The mapping system using Arcview Gis 3.3. The purpose of this study is to mapping areas that related with leprosy in Sumenep. This research was conducted in Sumenep Health Office. The methode of this research is descriptive withe the approach of mapping. In this study, the application Arcview Gis 3.3 is used to create digital maps and database attributes of the district. The result of this research is a digital map showing the incidence of leprosy in Sumenep. The digital map display such attributes like te number of leprosy, population density, area, level of temperature, humidity, and the number of health center. The digital map has colour graduation as an indicator of a high-low incidence of leprosy in each of district. The digital maps are expected be used by Sumenep Healh Office as a reference for decision making the incidence of leprosy Key words: Mapping, Leprosy, Arcview Gis 3.3, Geographic Information System
