Abstract

This research had a purpose to know the improvement of stringbean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) seed productivity and quality with the application of organic liquid fertilizer at some concentrations and spraying intervals. This research was held for 3 months from August - October 2015. All of the activities was done at agricultural field and Seed Technology Laboratory, State Polytechnic of Jember. This research was conducted by factorial Randomized Block Design (RDB) with 3 levels of concentration, 3 levels of interval and 3 replications, so there were 9 combination and 27 trial unit. The first factor was concentration, there were : organic liquid fertilizer concentration (D1) 10 ml/l (D2) 15 ml/l (D3) 20 ml/l. The second factor was interval : (I1) 7 days (I2) 10 days (I3) 14 days. The data result was analyzed by using F Annova Test and if there was significant difference between the application then it would be tested by using DMRT 5% levels. The research result showed that the spraying interval application gave very significant effect to the total of branches, the total of pods and the seed production each plant. From all of the spraying interval applications, 14 days of spraying interval application gave optimal production than the other applications.
