Abstract
The informed consent form is frequently used to get the agreement of doing operation and invasive which has risk compared to no invasive action like injecting. In fact, the patients do not understand about the informed consent consisting of the illnes risk, illness diagnosis, medical treatment, prognosis, alternative and risks. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of the completeness of the informed consent of the patients post-operative knowledge againt hernia in RSD Balung. This type of research is observasional analytic survey with cross sectional analysis approach. Statistical test using spearmen correlation test with α = 0,05. Based on the results of the research with the 34 respondents obtained 82% charging of the informed consent is not complete and it obtained less good level of knowledge that is 93%. The result showed a significant relationship between the completeness of the informed consent to knowledge with the correlation values p = 0,019. Suggested their the guidance for doctors and other medical teamin fulfilling document of medical record especially informed consent and giving practices, motivating the doctors in fulfilling the medical record through career development, giving feedback through reward and punishment.
