Abstract

Expert system is a system that adopts an expert’s knowledge into a computer so it can be used for consultation and decision-making. This research aims to develop a mobile-based expert system for diagnosing human diseases using the Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method. Based on survey data from 26 respondents, 100% agreed on the need for an application that can detect symptoms and recommend nearby doctors. The expert system is built with React Native for mobile development and Laravel for backend processing. The system includes features such as symptom analysis, disease information, and doctor recommendations based on location. The application was tested using black box testing with the equivalence partition method, resulting in 100% effectiveness and 95% accuracy. This system helps users recognize early symptoms quickly and efficiently, allowing faster treatment and saving cost and time.
