Abstract

Making A Guidebook For Agrowisata Gunung Pasang Jember, Muhamad Riski, F31222488, 2025, 62 Pages, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Adriadi Novawan, S.Pd., M.Ed. (Supervisor). Agrowisata Boma Gunung Pasang is a nature-based tourism destination located in Jember, East Java. Surrounded by rubber and coffee plantations, it offers educational and recreational experiences, such as outbound activities, camping, and agricultural education. The site also provides supporting facilities like gazebos, homestays, playgrounds, and food services. Despite its potential, the lack of a proper bilingual guidebook had made it difficult for local and international visitors to explore the area optimally. To address this issue, the writer was assigned to create a bilingual guidebook as a promotional and informational medium for Agrowisata Boma Gunung Pasang. The guidebook, written in both Indonesian and English, consists of sixteen sections and presents comprehensive content such as the history of the site, available services and rates, activities, do and doesn’t, contact information, and location map. The guidebook was designed in two formats: printed (A5 size, full color) and digital (PDF version), making it accessible for a wider audience. This final project was completed over a period of eight months. The process began with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation at the tourism site in Jember, followed by content writing, translation, and layout design using tools such as a laptop, smartphone, Canva, and others. The result is an informative and visually appealing guidebook that can enhance visitor experiences and support the sustainable promotion of Agrowisata Boma Gunung Pasang Jember.
