Abstract
UD Makmur tofu factory is an agroindustry business located on Jalan Ahmad Yani RT 03 RW 04, Wirolegi village, Pakusari su-district, Jember regency. This business produces two types of tofu, namely raw tofu and fried tofu. This research was aimed to determine the amount of optimum soybean raw material stock needs to be fulfilled by UD Makmur tofu factory, when is the right time to do reorder soybean raw material and the optimum total order cost to get soy raw material. The method used in this research is EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) calculation to know the amount of optimum raw material order, ROP (Reorder Point) analysis tool to know when is the right time to do raw material reorder, Safety Stock analysis tool to know the safety stock and TC (Total Cost) to calculate raw material total order cost. Based on the analysis result using EOQ Method, the amount of optimum raw material was 3.131 Kg of soybean with 20 times as the purchasing frequency in a year with the reorder when the stock reach 691 Kg of soybean with Rp. 416.215.141 as the total stock cost.
