Abstract

abstract in today's global development, competition and competition in business and trade are increasingly competitive due to the increasing number of people opening businesses on a small or large scale. this is what makes business owners want to expand their efforts to avoid losses due to increasingly difficult business competition. such as toko morodadisemboro that has decreased with one factor is to provide a stock that is not suitable during the big event held in semboro. therefore, it takes a system to assist business owners in providing stock items to reduce losses to their businesses. based on the problem, the authors create a stock forecasting system for the food sales in the store morodadi. with the creation of the forecasting system is expected to help business owners to provide proper stock. the author uses the triple exponential smoothing method to calculate forecasting. results in the form of predictive values and errors of the form of mad and mse to generate an error level calculation of stock sale of groceries. after testing the blackbox, it was obtained that the system had run as expected. meanwhile, for testing uat obtained a value of 80,4% which means that the system can be well received by the user.
