Abstract
E-learning is distance learning that uses computer technology and the internet. The effectiveness of e-learning does not only depend on the technology itself, but also on metacognitive ability. The use of E-Learning in the learning process based on students' metacognitive ability also has a very important role. On this website, there is a classification feature that allows users to assess how well they understand the learning process, and identify the level of metacognitive ability of its users. A deep understanding of the needs and preferences of users is key in designing an effective and attractive interface. Therefore, the development of User Interface (UI) using User Centered Design (UCD) method is appropriate to be implemented. This research aims to develop a User Interface design so that users can use a more interactive Adaptive Metacognitive HLE (AMetative) The evaluation process to measure the level of satisfaction and user experience on the AMetative system uses the User Experience Questionare (UEQ) in assessing the quality of user experience.
