Abstract
One of the main problems faced by Robusta coffee farmers is the low quality of seedlings used in the nursery, which is often caused by a lack of nutrients during the nursery process. This obstacle makes golden snail extract an alternative organic fertilizer that is beneficial for the growth of Robusta coffee seedlings. This study aims to examine the effect of golden snail extract concentration on the growth of robusta coffee seedlings. This study used a Non Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKNF) with 4 levels of application of golden snail extract concentration, namely 0%; 2.5%; 5%; and 7.5%. Observation parameters include root length, seedling height, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, biomass, and leaf area. The results showed that the effect of golden snail extract had a significant effect on increasing root length, seedling height, chlorophyll content, biomass, and leaf area. Administration of golden snail extract with a concentration of 5% gave the best results with a root length of 34.33 cm, seedling height of 20.75 cm, number of leaves of 13 strands per seedling, chlorophyll content of 52.75 units, biomass of 5.18 grams, and leaf area of 99.25 cm².
