Abstract
The standard time for retrieving and recalling outpatient medical records at the Kanigaran Health Center in Probolinggo City is one whole day. However, the problem at the Health Center is the delay in returning medical records that is more than one day caused by the recording of the borrowing and returning process which is still ongoing manually. Conquer this problem, an information system for borrowing and returning medical records is needed. The approach used in this study is the waterfall method proposed by Rossa and Salahudin, which includes the steps of analysis, design, coding, and testing. The analysis step includes identifying problems and needs in system development. The design step produces a system flowchart, DFD, and ERD. The coding process uses the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework. The testing step is carried out using the black box method to run the system functions that have been created. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are to produce an information system for borrowing and returning outpatient medical records at the Kanigaran Health Center Probolinggo City with the advantages of a tracer print feature, notification in the system, and checking the completeness of medical records.
