Abstract

Subtitling A Learning Video Entitled Laravel Php Framework Tutorial - Full Course For Beginner (2019) For Technical Information Study Program State Politeknik Negeri Jember, Surya Catur Wulan Doko, F31170403, year 2020, 35 pages, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nanik Mariyati, S.Pd., M.Pd. as the Supervisor of My Final Project. Informatics Engineering is one of the study programs in State Polytechnic of Jember that focuses on programming. This study program also learns about English that was related to the student's needs. The lecturer of this subject gived the kind of learning media for the students and one of them is video. But the students have difficulty to learn the subject by video moreover the video is using English Language. So by subtitling video in Indonesian language, the students can understand the whole contents of the video easily and quickly. In this final project, the writer used 7 procedures based on Video Corporation (2015) those were Subtitle Formatting Timing, Preliminary Review, Generation of Translation Template, Translation of subtitling video, Translation of Subtitling Video Review, Subtitle Placement and File Output. The writer also did a preliminary study to collect data used in this final project. The writer interviewed the lecturer of informatics engineering. The lecturer asked to the writer to make a subtitle for the learning video entitled laravel PHP framework tutorial - full course for beginner (2019). In a result of preliminary study the writer was making subtitles used the Filmora9 application. The size of the subtitle was 24 and the theme of fonts was Arial Hopefully this subtitling video could become a learning media for the process of teaching and learning for the lecturer of informatics engineering, Mr. Khafiddurrohman Agustianto,S.Pd., M.Eng and for all student of informatics engineering study program in Politeknik Negeri Jember.
