Abstract

Sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is the only producer of white sugar in Indonesia. One seeding method used to develop superior seeds is the bud set technique. Coconut water ZPT is a natural ingredient that has cytokinin activity for cell division and encourages organ formation. Coconut water is able to provide various nutritional needs for plant growth. This research used a non-factorial RAK (Randomized Block Design) with 1 factor, namely: concentration of coconut water, with treatments including; P0: (control), P1: Coconut water concentration 15%, P2: Coconut water concentration 25%, P3: Coconut water concentration 35%, P4: Coconut water concentration 45%, P5: Coconut water concentration 55% with application every 2 weeks for 3 months. The research results showed that there was an influence on the parameters of plant length (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), fresh weight of roots (gr) and dry weight of roots (gr).
