Abstract
Peanut productivity results fluctuate every year. One effort is to provide cow manure containing high levels of organic matter so that it is believed to be able to improve the physical properties of the soil and pruning shoots can increase the quantity and quality of crop production. This research was carried out from November 2023 to February 2024. This research was carried out on Jl. kidul rice fields, Tamanan Village, Tamanan District, Bondowoso Regency. The experimental design used in this research was a factorial RAK (Randomized Group Design) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of cow drum fertilizer which consists of 4 levels: 0, 10, 20, 30 tonnes/ha. The second factor for pruning apical shoots includes no pruning, pruning before flowering 14 DAP, and pruning 21 DAT. The results of the study showed that the 30 ton/ha treatment had a very significant difference in the number of pods. The fresh weight of the pods showed an interaction with the combination treatment Pruned after flowering 21 DAT + 30 tons/ha. The parameters of number of pods and weight of pithy pods showed no significant difference in all treatments. Keywords: cow drum fertilizer, apical shoots, peanut
