Abstract

Crime or criminal action is an act or series of human actions that are contrary to applicable laws or regulations, for which punishment must be carried out for the violations committed. This research develops a system for determining patrol routes for vital objects based on crime levels using the KNN method which aims to help the police o carry out patrols effectively. Classification of the crime level for each street or area can be done based on the number of crimes and the distance between the crime scene and the nearest police station.
