Abstract

Internal verification is the process of checking and validating documents and data carried out by the hospital internally to ensure the correctness and validity of health service claims submitted to BPJS Kesehatan. Citra Husada Hospital experiences pending claims every month due to the verification process which is still carried out manually. Pending claims at Citra Husada Hospital are caused by several aspects, namely coding aspects and administrative aspects. The administrative aspect is caused by the large number of double claims that occur and the coding aspect is caused by the inaccuracy of the combination code in accordance with the record of agreement. This research is a research and development research with data collection methods through interviews, observation, documentation. This design uses the prototype system development method which consists of the stages of user needs analysis, prototyping, prototype validation, program creation, testing, system validation. The analysis stage is through the analysis of problems and system needs. The prototype stage uses a flowchart system, Context Diagram, DFD, and ERD. The prototype validation stage uses the validation/confirmation method directly to the user. The program creation stage uses PHP, Tailwind, MySQL, and CodeIgniter 3 programming languages. The testing phase uses blackbox testing. The system validation stage is by demonstrating the system that has been created to the user. The result of the study is a website-based BPJS internal claim verification system that can simplify and overcome existing problems.
