Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based expert system using the Dempster-Shafer method to diagnose diseases in corn plants. The system will provide disease probabilities based on observed symptoms, integrating expert knowledge. The advantages of this system include reducing information complexity, labor costs, and processing time. The Dempster-Shafer method was chosen for its ability to handle uncertainty and provide accurate decision-making solutions. The research results are expected to simplify the process of diagnosing corn plant diseases, offering easy access and improved diagnostic accuracy due to the integration of expert knowledge within the system.
