Abstract

Consumption and demand for electricity in Indonesia is continuously increasing to reach 1,172 Kwh per capita by 2022 based on data from the Ministry of ESDM. This requires an alternative power plant support for the availability of electricity sources. The use of renewable energy requires a device that can convert mechanical energy into electricity, a synchronous generator. The development of axial generators needed to be done as research in science so that generators could be produced simply to meet electricity requirements on a low scale. This research will continue the previous research using with research and development so that the output on this research will produce a larger voltage at a rotation of 600 rpm, therefore on this study will be made a prototype with variation of the addition of the core stator on the assembly of axial generator three phases. Test results with a 370 Watt motor of 2,246 VAC with a DC voltage of 3.7 VDC. Tests on a 440 Watt motor with a maximum output voltage 2,907 VAC and a DC voltage of 6.27 VDC.
