Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted was to analyze of soybean raw material inventory control at CV Tamaya Langgeng. This research is classified as descriptive research with a quantitative approach. CV Tamaya Langgeng is a business that produces Tofu with soybean as the main raw material, located in Seduri, Tumapel Village, Dlanggu District, Mojokerto. This research uses EOQ method and POM- QM software including calculating the optimal order quantity, when the company will reorder, the amount of safety stock and the total amount of inventory costs in procuring soybean raw materials. The results of research at CV Tamaya Langgeng in 2023 the optimal of purchases is 31,894.32 kg with a purchase frequency of 21 times a year every 17 days. The safety stock is 9,542.23 kg and the reorder point is 11,359.13 kg. Total inventory costs amounted to IDR 40,607,853.62. Meanwhile, the total inventory costs based on company policy in 2023 IDR. 49,684,387.28. Cost savings in controlling raw material inventory using the EOQ method amounted to IDR 9,076,534,-. This proves that using the EOQ method in controlling raw material inventory can reduce company costs, so that it can be used as a consideration for companies to use the EOQ method in controlling the company's raw material inventory.
