Abstract

Information systems are developing rapidly, and now play an important role in many processes increasing production, effectiveness and efficiency in various industries including the health sector. A preliminary study conducted by researchers in December 2022 at RSUD dr. R. Soetrasno, Rembang Regency, found that the problem was that the patient registration process and patient data processing carried out by registration officers were still manual. The number of new patient visits reached 49.82% and was uncertain. These two problems can make it difficult for officers because they cause the registration process to take longer and are susceptible to human error so that the information produced is inaccurate. This research aims to design and create an online reservation application for outpatient medical check-up patients equipped with payment which is expected to help solve problems caused by the accumulation of new patients. The type of research used is research and development with the Waterfall development method. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and brainstorming. The online reservation application for outpatient medical check-up patients which includes payment is the result of this research with the aim that patients can register easily, simply log in on their smartphone or laptop according to the registered account, then make a reservation by the visitor, print proof of reservation, then The officer will verify the proof of reservation to confirm the patient's arrival.
