Abstract

his study aims to determine the physical quality of duck eggs raised under different farming systems in the Mulya duck farming group in Labruk Village, Lumajang. The research was conducted using 3000 Mojosarri ducks, with each housing system containing 1000 ducks. The study took place in September 2023 in Labruk District, Lumajang Regency. The research employed the Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) method based on a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a one-way pattern. If there were differences in treatments from the analysis, Duncan's test was conducted. Parameters observed included egg weight, egg index, egg yolk color, egg white index, egg yolk index, and Haugh unit. The results of the analysis of egg physical quality under different farming systems showed significant results (P<0.05) for egg index, egg white index, egg yolk index, and showed non-significant results (P>0.05) for egg weight, egg yolk color, and Haugh unit.
