Abstract

Indonesia is listed as one of the largest coffee producing countries in the world because it has a tropical climate. One of the areas that contributes coffee is Sumbersalak Village, Ledokombo District, Jember Regency. The potential geographic location makes most of the population's livelihood as coffee farmers. Apart from that, residents also have livestock such as goats and cows. This condition causes coffee waste and livestock waste to accumulate because residents do not know the use and potential of processing this waste. Therefore, one use of this waste is to make compost. Apart from being able to fertilize the land, it also does not pollute the air in the environment, and can be of economic value for local residents. Making compost fertilizer also needs to be developed with auxiliary equipment in the form of a compost mixer machine. This machine is used to make work easier because it is also equipped with monitoring the dynamo rotation speed and mixing duration so that it becomes more effective and efficient.
