Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual spiritual strength, self-control, personality (BPS, 2018). In order to create an effective learning process, many learning media are used, one of which is e-learning . One of the tertiary institutions that has implemented an e-learning system is the Jember Polytechnic. E-learning at the State Polytechnic of Jember (Polije) can be accessed through the address http://www.e-learning.polije.ac.id. This website can be used by Polije students, lecturers and department administration. Facilities that can be used are material uploading, assignments and task collection, online exams and automatic assessment features. However, the application of e-learning in the State Polytechnic of Jember still cannot be functioned optimally. Based on the results of a survey of 40 respondents from Polije students, it was found that 25% of respondents did not know about elearning in Polije. As many as 47.5% of respondents claimed that they had never used Polije e-learning, and 50% of respondents claimed that there were no subjects using Polije e-learning. Thus, it is necessary to create a system that can analyze the readiness of e-learning in the State Polytechnic of Jember using the E-Learning Readiness method.
