Abstract

Jember Regency Kasiyan Health Centre implements the SIMPUS Puskesmas Management Information System that has not been used since 2019 until now. So far, service activities are carried out manually, this in its implementation does not run optimally. Based on a preliminary study, it was found that there were problems in SIMPUS, there were still obstacles in the readiness to use SIMPUS because the officers had forgotten to use SIMPUS at the Puskesmas. This research aims to analyse the readiness to use the SIMPUS health centre management information system in the implementation of SIMPUS based on the 5M method. This research uses a qualitative type of research. His data capture techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Factors that analyse the readiness to use the puskesmas management information system (SIMPUS) with the 5M method are in the Jember district kasiyan health centre based on the Man factor, Money factor, Method factor, Material factor, and Machine factor. In the organisation, it does not always run easily because of various obstacles, therefore researchers need to do a level of readiness for use in adopting SIMPUS, because the lack of socialisation causes awareness between officers in terms of helping each other SIMPUS users well which makes the readiness to use SIMPUS not develop. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the readiness to use SIMPUS at the kasiyan health centre in general has a moderate level of preparation. Most officers are at a low readiness level, meaning that they have an optimal attitude and innovation above average, but a small percentage are still vulnerable in using the system.
