Abstract

Dengue fever is caused by the Dengue virus, which is transmitted by Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus mosquitoes. To tackle DHF, various preventive, curative, and promotive measures have been taken. However, these activities did not have an impact on reducing dengue cases in Indonesia so that it still remains an important health problem. Therefore, this research developed a "Web-GIS system for analyzing the spread of dengue disease vectors using the DBSCAN cluster method". The aim is to cluster areas that have similar risk factors for the spread of DHF disease, so that the results of the analysis can be used as an early warning for the Health Office in taking appropriate preventive action. This study successfully implemented the DBSCAN method using the value of Epsilon=0.002839 and MinPts=1 in Web-GIS for the Analysis of the Spread of the DHF Disease Vector which resulted in 30 cluster from 364 sampling locations.
