Abstract
Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) is a leguminous plant that is in great demand because it has many benefits. This study aims to determine the response of production dan seed quality of Soybean to the application inoculation of Rhizobium and pottasium phosfate fertilizer. This research was carried out from Agust 2023 to January 2024 at the experimental field of Kaliurang street, Sumbersari, Jember, East Java and Seed Production Technique laboratory, State Polytechnic of Jember. This research used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 replications. The first factor is inoculation rhizobium with 3 levels (0 g/kg of seed, 10 g/kg of seed and 20 g/kg of seed) and the second factor is photthasium fosfate fertilizer with 3 levels (2,25 g/l, 4,5 g/l and 6,75 g/l). Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further tested with Duncan‟s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 1% and 5% significance levels. The results show that the best Rhizobium inoculation is 20 g/kg of seeds gave a significant effect on weight of seed in each plant (15,03 g), production per hectare (2208,8 Kg/hectare) and germination (74,22%). The best concentration level of potassium phosphate fertilizer is 6.75 g/l gave a significant effect on plant age (35 HST) and number of pods in each plant (66,97 pod), seed weight in each plant (15,45 g), production per hectare (2184,11 kg/hectare), weight of 100 grains (13,31 g) and germination (76,33%). The interaction between Rhizobium inoculation and pottasium phosphate fertilizer concentration gave non significant for all observed parameters.
