Abstract

PT. Sarana Tani Pratama in one of the companies engaged in canning fish. The main product is canned fish, while the by products are fishmeal and fishoil. The main raw material used by the company is lemuru fish. There is more than one supplier that delivers lemuru fish to the copany is lemuru fish to the company, so each supplier has different performance capabilities. Currently, lemuru fish is often rejected by the company because not meet the set quality standards. The research conducted discusses the selection of suppliers, so that later it can help the company in making puschases. Supplier selection is done using the TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similaritu To Ideal Solution) methode. The alternatives used are Selamet supplier, H. Ali Nuri supplier, Dikin supplier, Yudi supplier, Yani supplier, and Bustam supplier. The criteria used are accuracy of delivery quantity, timeliness of delivery, quality of delivery, food safety, price and ease of comuunication. The result obtained from the TOPSIS calculate are that supplier Dikin is the best alternative with a preference value of 0,696, so it is feadible to be given incentives by the company.
