Abstract

Cocoa plants before being moved to the field must pass the nursery stage with a period of 4-5 months. Tofu waste organic fertilizer is an alternative because its nutrient content can improve cocoa growth. Cocoa seedlings can grow well later after transplanting will produce quality fruit, therefore the harvest can be maximized. The study aims to assess the utilization of tofu waste (POC) on cocoa seedlings. The research method used was Non Factorial RAK consisting of 5 treatments, namely POC of tofu waste concentration T1 (50 ml/liter), T2 (100 ml/liter), T3 (150 ml/liter), and T4 (200 ml/liter), and T0 (control/urea) with application once a month during the seedling age of 116 days as many as 140 cocoa seedlings. The results showed that there was an effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), number of leaves (strands), wet weight (grams), and root dry weight (grams).
