Abstract

Puskesmas is the first level health service unit and foremost in a health service system that is tailored to the conditions, needs, demands, capabilities and innovations as well as local government policies. In general, the data collection process at the puskesmas is still done manually so it takes a long time and if the patient does not bring a Medicinal Index Card, he has to wait a long time to get the file so that it takes alongtime in patient registration services. If the file is not found, a new file will be created which means duplicate data has occurred. On average, 36% of patients do not carry a Medication Index Card (KIB) when they are about to seek treatment every day. In addition, in making monthly reports, officers record data one by one which will be made into a monthly report. The purpose of this research is to design a Web-based patient registration information system program with fingerprint to simplify the existing process. This study uses the prototype method according to Sulianta's references, including: (1) Identifying needs (2) Designing Prototypes (3) coding prototypes (4) System testing (5) Using the system. The final result of this design produces a web-based patient registration information system with a fingerprint to make it easier to process data and store data and is expected to make it easier for users.
