Abstract

Coffee is a plantation commodity that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. To increase coffee productivity in Indonesia, especially robusta coffee, is to provide good and sufficient production facilities, namely by providing superior robusta coffee plant seeds and applying NPK fertilizer. This research was conducted in October 2022 – January 2023 at the Jember State Polytechnic wire house, which is located at Jl. Mastrip, East Krajan, Sumbersari, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, East Java 68121. This research used a Non-Factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) method with factor P (NPK Fertilizer) consisting of 8 treatment levels and 3 replications. The results of the research data were analyzed using ANOVA and continued with a further Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that giving NPK fertilizer had an effect on the growth of robusta coffee (Coffea canephora) seedlings. Providing NPK fertilizer at a dose of 1.5 grams/plant showed a real influence on the parameters of plant height aged 30 DAF (Day After Fertilization) with a value of 3.85 cm and stem diameter aged 60 DAF of 0.44 mm, and had a very real influence on The stem diameter parameter aged 90 DAF is 0.94 mm.
