Abstract

The facial recognition system is a computerized system that is used to match faces whether human faces are recognized by the system or not. Facial recognition systems are also included in the biometric category. The purpose of the establishment of the system is to avoid forcible hacking of computer systems by other computer users. Computer hacking usually uses a wordlist as a way to guess the computer system's login password with the bruteforcing method. Researchers are trying to build a facial recognition system using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Naïve Bayes algorithms. With this algorithm, the system can recognize human faces through image training data. The results of the facial recognition system using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Naïve Bayes algorithms obtain an accuracy of 80%.
