Abstract

The State Civil Apparatus is the frontline in public services. For this reason, public officials are needed who can carry out the mandate as public servants. One way to choose a good official must have parameters that are in accordance with laws and regulations. So far, there have been many problems with public services, one of which is due to the appointment of incompetent officials and violating laws and regulations that cause officials to be unable to serve the public optimally. So that a decision support system is needed in the selection of civil servant officials in accordance with applicable regulations which is expected to provide recommendations to regional leaders to elect civil servant officials. So it is the background of research on the selection of civil servant structural officials using the FMADM method with Weighted Product in the Jember Regency Government Environment. The results of the decision support system research using the FMADM method with Weighted Product show that with 6 (six) predetermined criteria and 10 (ten) officials conducted research, based on the results of black box functionality testing, 100% results were obtained on the system that has been tested from 20 test scenarios. From the User Acceptance Testing test data conducted, 85.71% were obtained with seven types of questions given to 10 respondents consisting of employees at BKPSDM Jember Regency.
