Abstract

Early inpatient medical assessment was an important form for identifying the patient's need to start the patient's care process. There were incompleteness of the early inpatient medical assessment form, which were found in the early pulmonary inpatient assessment form countedted to 78.9% in June, early surgical inpatient assessment form counted to 92.5% in April, and early general inpatient assessment form counted to 100% in June. The incompleteness of filling the early inpatient medical assessment form had an impact on the legality which may be possible in the event of a lawsuit. This study aims to analyze and improve the problem of incompleteness of the early inpatient medical assessment form used brainstorming. The type of this study used qualitative research and the data collection used written question lists, interviews, observation, documentation, and brainstorming. The results of the study showed that individual factors including knowledge that less aware of the standards for completion of the early inpatient medical assessment form. Organizational factors include rewards, there were no reward and punishment system. Psychological factors that include learning, there was a lack of regular socialization. The effort to improve the incompleteness of filling out the early inpatient medical assessment form is socialization or resocialization related to completeness such as completeness review. Reward can be awarded such as praise and put the employee into the exemplary employee and punishment can be a reprimand. Related to socialization when transferring knowledge can be communicated directly to the employee who do not follow the socialization.
