Abstract

This research aims to find out which varieties of hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) have high seed production and quality. This research was conducted in June to November 2019 at PT. Syngenta Seed Indonesia, Sukokerto Village, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. This research using a randomized block design non factorial includes 4 levels namely Syngenta 1 (V1) varieties, Syngenta varieties 2 (V2), Varieties Syngenta 3 (V3) and Varieties Syngenta 4 (V4) and four replication The Data obtained is analyzed with various prints and followed by a test of the the smallest real difference (BNT) with a level of 5%. The results of data analysis show that varieties treatment affects high parameters of plants, diameter of cob, number of kernels per row and weight of cob per plot without cornhusk. The treatment of varieties that have high productivity with the average result 13,91 ton/Ha and quality are seen 88,88 % by varieties Syngenta 1 (V1)
