Abstract

Phalaenopsis orchids are the most popular orchids and are widely sold in the world market. Phalaenopsis orchids are widely sold in the form of cut flowers and plantlets in bottles. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of phalaenopsis orchid plantlets on various types of planting media at the acclimatization stage. . This research was conducted at the Green House Tissue Culture Laboratory, Jember State Polytechnic for 9 weeks after planting from October 2017 to December 2017. This study used non-factorial randomized block designd with 6 treatments. With details of the media treatment of Bamboo Humus (M1), Fern Root (M2), Husk Charcoal (M3), (M4) Bamboo Husk and Fern Root, (M5) Bamboo Husk and Husk Charcoal, (M6) Fern Root and Husk Charcoal. The treadment gives no significant effect to all parameters number of leaves, leaf width and leaf length.
