Abstract

Coffee is an important commodity for the Indonesian economy. Arabica coffee has a more competitive price. There is a problem with the cultivation of Arabica coffee which tends to grow in the highlands, while Indonesia has many lowlands. Therefore a solution is needed to increase resistance and increase the productivity of coffee plants, one of which is by administering Trichoderma harzianum. This study investigated the effect of giving Trichoderma doses on the growth of Arabica coffee. This research was carried out in November 2022 - January 2023 which took place at the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Center. This study used a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). Obtained 7 treatments and repeated 4 times. The treatments were (0 grams, 1 gram, 2 grams, 3 grams, 4 grams, 5 grams and 6 grams). This data analysis uses ANOVA followed by a 5% BNJ follow-up test. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of Trichoderma harzianum showed significantly different results on plant height parameters in treatments U1, U2, U5, U7 and showed significantly different results on plant fresh weight parameters in treatments U5, U6, and U7 at 60 DAP observation.
