Abstract

Cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.) are one of the fruit vegetables that are widely consumed fresh by the people of Indonesia. this study aims to determine the interaction between blotong fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on the production and quality of cucumber plant seeds (Cucumis sativus L.). This study was designed with a factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) consisting of 2 factors, namely blotong fertilizer and NPK fertilizer, each factor consisting of 3 levels and repeated 3 times. Factor 1: Blotong Fertilizer (B) B1 = 5 tons/ha;B2 = 10 ton/ha;B3 = 15 ton/ha , Factor 2 : NPK Fertilizer (N) N1 = 270 kg/ha;N2 = 285 kg/ha;N3 = 300 kg/ha. Treatment of fertilizer blotong (B) has a very real different effect on the parameters of seed weight per plant (18.00 grams) and weight of 1000 seeds (5.65 grams). Treatment of fertilizer NPK (N) has a very real different effect on the parameters of the number of seeds per fruit (218.06 pieces), seed weight per fruit (5.80 grams), number of seeds per plant (654.18 pieces), seed weight per plant (17.32 grams), seed weight per plot (174.22 grams), weight of 1000 seeds (5.82 grams) and potential seed production per hectare (0.73 tons /ha). The interaction treatmnt of blotong fertilizer (B) and NPK fertilizer (N) has a very real different effect on the weight parameters of 1000 seeds (5.92 grams).
