Abstract

Long bean is an annual plant that is used by the people of Indonesia, this plant is used as a vegetable or as fresh vegetables, long bean is a source of vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C and minerals. Applying liquid foliar fertilizer and pruning shoots can increase the amount of seed production. This research uses RCBD with 2 factors. Each factor consists of 3 levels and repeated 3 times. The first factor is the liquid leaf fertilizer (C,) 1 ml/l (C1), 2 ml/l (C2), 3 ml/l (C3). The second factor was the age of pruning shoots (P) at 20 hst (P1), 25 hst (P2), 30 hst (P3). The data analyzed using analysis of variance and then proceed with the DMRT 5%. The results of the 2 ml/l foliar fertilizer treatment showed significantly different effects on the parameters of the number of pods per plant 8.59 pod, the number of seeds per pod 19.88 grains, the number of seeds per plant 165.63 grains, and weight 1000 seeds 150.6 g. The treatment of pruning shoots 20 HST had a very significant effect on the parameter number of pods per plant 8.87 pod, the number of seeds per plant was 167.98 and had a significant effect on the parameter number of productive branches 6.88 branchs, the number of seeds per pod 20.11 grains, weight seeds per plant 25.17 g and seed production parameters per hectare 839.08 kg/ha.
