Abstract

One of the efforts to get optimal green spinach seed production requires adequate nutrition and according to plant needs. The study was aimed to determine the effect of the ratio of NPK fertilizer and concentration of foliar fertilizer in the seed production and quality of Amaranthus hybridus. The study was conducted on August-October 2022 at Munder Village,Yosowilangun, Lumajang. The study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RBD) with 2 factors and 3 replication. The first factor were the doses of NPK fertilizers (108 kg/ha, 118 kg/ha, and 128 kg/ha).The second factors were the concentration of foliar fertilizer (2 , 3 and 4 gram/L of water). The data will be analyzed using ANOVA then followed with a DMRT test 5% level. The result showed that the doses of NPK fertilizers had an significant effect on the parameters of plant height (109,57), and biomass (149,05 gram). The concentrations of foliar fertilizer has an significant for total branches per plant (13,85 pieces) and total panicles per plant (57,53 strands). The interaction between the doses of NPK fertilizer and the concentration of foliar fertilizer after planting has a significant effect on the parameters of plant height (115,56cm), seeds production per plant (31,10 gram), seeds production per plot (671,54 gram), seeds production per hectare (1.119,23 kg/ha).
