Abstract

Application of Information Technology (IT) in the process of accepting new students at PPM Syafi'ur Rohman, an educational institution engaged in the field of religious and social education. PPM Sya'fiur Rohman in facing complexity in the field of education and requires IT integration to increase Efficiencyand profitability. One of the challenges faced is making it easier for prospective students to carry out the registration process. Therefore, the Double diamond method was chosen as a method of solving problems in information systems and providing the right solution. This study aims to develop a web-based information system that can facilitate the acceptance of new students. In this study, data analysis was carried out by showing the previous web user interface and the new web prototype, the usability scale system and distributing questionnaires to 65 respondents. The results show the sus value on the old web, which is 44.19 and has a Grade F. These results can be categorized as "not Acceptable". Whereas the new web prototype has a sus value of 80.46 and has Grade A. These results can be categorized as "Acceptable".
